Harlem, Montana (AP) - Thirteen crewmen aboard two USAF
C-141 cargo planes are feared dead after their aircraft collided in mid- air on Monday night during a training exercise over Montana. Nine bodies have been found. Colonel Dick Fanjoy, vice commander of the 43rd air refuelling wing at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Great Falls, said investigators did not think weather was a factor in the crash.
In Washington yesterday, the captain and seven crewmen of the USS Saratoga heard they will face a disciplinary hearing after an accidental missile firing that killed five Turkish sailors on 2 October. The decision, in effect, rejects Turkey's call for a full court martial.
