Beirut - An Iraqi Islamic opposition group claimed responsibility for a bombing at the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Baghdad on Wednesday, saying that the target was a secret police office within the ministry 'which specialises in fighting religious movements'.
Iraq's national news agency said that the bomb exploded at a prayer room in the ministry, killing a senior civil servant and seriously injuring five people. Reuter
