A festival involving toros embolados (burning bulls) in northern Spain yesterday resulted in the death of one man by goring.
Navajas is one of many villages in the region where bulls are released to rampage through the streets with large balls of flaming wax or burning fireworks attached to their horns. Yesterday's accident happened after the victim tripped while running from the bulls soon after their release.
