The Frankfurt Motor Show will be opening to the public this week and this year marks the event's 65th anniversary. However the show's origins can be traced back to 1897 when several cars were displayed publicly at the Bristol Hotel in Berlin. The event is a highlight on the motoring calendar and is considered to be one of the most comprehensive motor shows in the automotive industry.
