A number of people are thought to have been killed in a shooting in a town in southern Germany.

Here is what we know so far:

  • At least two people are dead after being shot from a car
  • Police have arrested one man
  • The shootings were in a suburban areas of Leutershausen and Rammersdorf, in Bavaria
  • The first victim was an 82-year-old woman and the second a cyclist. Both died at the scene
  • This is not Ansbach's first gun crime incident - there was a school shooting in 2009
