The Christian Democrats looked set to win the Dutch elections to the European parliament in what seemed to be the lowest turn-out ever, Reuter reports from the Hague. Reversing a trend set in general elections in the Netherlands in May, the Dutch news agency ANP said the Christian Democrats would win after only 32 per cent of voters turned out. It based its forecast on exit polls.
