A police commander described in court yesterday how the mayhem that followed a bomb blast in Oslo, on 22 July last year, allowed Anders Behring Breivik to slip away and carry out the youth camp massacre.
Eight people were killed by the bomb and 69 were killed on Utoya island in the twin attacks.
Testifying in Breivik's trial, police operations leader Thor Langli said the initial reports after the blast suggested there were two suspects, and two other bombs about to explode.
