VIENNA - Carlo Azeglio Ciampi, the Italian Prime Minister said yesterday that he would not run for parliament next March, Reuter reports. 'With the elections, my personal involvement and that of my government is over,' Mr Ciampi announced in Vienna, where he had talks with the Austrian Chancellor, Franz Vranitzky.
