Footage has emerged of a fist fight between two trade union leaders on Albanian TV.

Fiqiri Xibri and Kol Nikolla can be seen arguing before Mr Xibri lunges forwards and slaps Mr Nikolla in the face.

Mr Xibri, chair of the miners union, continues to slap Mr Nikolla, chair of the Confederation of Albanian Trade Unions, who fights back with punches and kicks.

At one point, the two men throttle each other before staff rush forwards to separate them.

It took three staff members and the TV presenter to pry the men apart.

The fight broke out in 2018 but was initially removed from the network, according to the TOP TV channel, which published footage of the fight.

Two rival Ukranian MPs were caught fighting on camera after a televised debate in 2016.

Volodymyr Parasyuk threw a punch at Oleksandr Vilkul, Ukraine's former deputy prime minister, before heading outside to kick and vandalise Mr Vikul's car.
