TIRANA - Albanian police dispersed hundreds of former political prisoners who were on hunger strike in Tirana and three other towns to demand government compensation for their suffering in Communist jails. Shots were fired when police tried to storm the Association of Ex-Political Prisoners' buildings in the port of Vlora and Shkodra city. AP
