EU to promote pact for jobs

Brussels - The European Union will hold a round-table conference in April to promote a "confidence pact" among countries to fight unemployment. With unemployment a pressing economic problem, the conference will bring together trade unions, employers and academics to consider ways to increase jobs and is scheduled for 28 and 29 April. Reuter
