Israel's Supreme Court will rule on 29 July on John Demjanjuk's appeal against the death sentence for being the sadistic executioner 'Ivan the Terrible', AFP reports from Jerusalem.
Demjanjuk, 73, denies being a gas-chamber operator at Treblinka extermination camp in Poland. During the appeal his defence lawyer presented 80 new documents from KGB archives in which witnesses identify another Ukrainian as Ivan the Terrible.
