Curser of Rabin jailed
A right-wing extremist was sentenced yesterday to four months in jail for placing a curse of death on the late Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin two weeks before his assassination in November 1995. Avigdor Eskin was convicted in May for incitement to violence because he performed the death wish in front of television cameras.
Eskin and others performed a "pulsa denura" ceremony outside Rabin's home in Tel Aviv. A pulsa denura is a Jewish mystical curse which calls for the death of a deserving person. AP - Jerusalem
