Cobain widow recovers from overdose

Seattle - Rock singer Courtney Love, the widow of Nirvana star Kurt Cobain, was said to be recovering after an apparent overdose of prescription drugs. Emergency workers were called early on Sunday to Love's multimillion- dollar home overlooking Lake Washington in Seattle, where 27-year-old Cobain committed suicide last year by shooting himself in the head. They found Love unconscious.

Police said Love, 30, had taken prescription drugs on a flight from New York, causing her to become groggy. She needed to be helped from the plane and was "unconscious and unresponsive" by the time she arrived home. Reuter
