Clear verdict

Richmond, Virginia (AP) - The verdict is in on the first clear beer: clearly, it was not a hit. Faced with lacklustre sales, Miller Brewing has ended its market test of Miller Clear, conducted in three cities since April. A filtration process removed 40 per cent of the carbohydrates - and the colour - but left in all the alcohol.
