Bangladesh clashes leave 200 injured

Dhaka - Clashes injured at least 200 people yesterday as the Bangladesh government, in its first crackdown against the leaders of a two-year-old protest campaign, detained four opposition leaders. The injuries occurred on the second day of a protest strike that paralysed the country's main cities. AP
