SYDNEY (Reuter) - A man was charged with six counts of murder yesterday after one of Australia's worst massacres, in which his former girlfriend, her sister and father, and three other people were killed. There were angry scenes as Malcolm Baker, 45, appeared in a local magistrate's court amid tight security after the shooting rampage late on Tuesday which police said followed a domestic dispute.
Police were trying to unravel a tangle of relationships which prompted the killings of Mr Baker's former girlfriend Kerry Gannon, 23, her pregnant sister Lisa, 18, their father, Thomas Gannon, and David Baker, believed to be a close relative of the accused.
