Your support makes all the difference.A head-on crash between two buses in southern China killed 10 people and injured an additional 43 early today in the second major bus accident in two days.
The buses, one carrying 55 people and the other 28, collided on a road in Hechi city in Guangxi province, the official Xinhua News Agency reported.
A head-on crash yesterday between a truck and bus in northeastern Liaoning province killed 32 people and injured another 24 after a truck travelling on the wrong side of the road ploughed into the bus, bursting into flames on impact.
The latest accident occurred about 2am, Xinhua said. Neither bus was overloaded. The cause of the accident is under investigation. No other details were immediately known.
Road accidents are common in China because of overloaded and unsafe vehicles, poor road conditions and bad driving habits.
