More than 100 people gathered yesterday to vie for the title of Japan's fastest hands, competing to stack cups into a pyramid in the shortest time possible.

Using 12 specially designed plastic cups, contestants in Tokyo took part in the 2012 Sport Stacking Competition.

The winner, for the fourth year running, was Sota Takamori, a teenager, who came in at 1.93 seconds for the simplest version of the pyramid. Reuters
