Captured in the Jiangsu Province last week, the video shows the driver slowly driving along a road in front of several shops. The woman behind the wheel then turns her car to the left and begins to reverse backwards into a parking spot.
However, for some reason, her initially tentative driving gives way to a sudden burst in speed that produces some catastrophic results - mainly for the beauty salon nearby.
Fortunately, the shop was closed at the time and the driver escaped without injury.
