Your support makes all the difference. The body of a one-month-old girl has been discovered in a locked house in the Banswara district of Rajasthan in India, local police said.
The child was found lying on a bed in the house after locals reported a smell coming from the property to the police.
The parents of the girl, who also have another son and daughter, were not at home and returned only after they were informed about her death last Friday, according to local media.
Investigating officer Manohar Singh said the child’s mother may have left the house after a fight with her husband, who left shortly afterwards, leaving the girl alone.
The girl’s body has been handed to the parents following a post-mortem.
The exact cause of death is expected once the autopsy report has been released.
