Video shows Kentucky schoolgirl dragged the 'length of a football field' by school bus after rucksack gets caught
The girl is said to have suffered 'road rash' but is expected to recover from her injuries

A schoolgirl miraculously escaped with only scrapes and bruises after she got trapped in the door of her school bus and dragged over 100ft down a Kentucky road.
In a video released over the weekend, the young girl who is described as being 4 or 5 years old is filmed being pulled violently as the unaware driver continues to accelerate down the residential street in Louisville, Kentucky.
The terrifying incident was only brought to an end when a fellow driver was able to force the bus to stop by speeding around the vehicle and pulling up in front of it. Stunned bystanders ran to help the girl, once the bus stopped.
Tom Carman who filmed the incident, told WAVE: “It was amazing. I couldn’t believe it, her bouncing around in that door, all the way down the street, it was bad.”
The girl was said to be conscious and calling for her mum after being dragged for what witnesses say was the “length of a football field”.

She was taken to hospital but doctors said she is expected to recover from her injuries.
The remaining children on the bus were escorted to another vehicle where they were taken home.
An investigation into the incident has been launched by Jefferson County Public Schools Board.
