A plaque commemorating Donald Trump’s infamous Access Hollywood comments, in which he bragged about sexual assault, has been spotted at the studios where the remarks were made.

A visual effects artist for “Legends of Tomorrow” posted a photo of the plaque, with a critical caption of the President.

“In dishonour of our President, the producers of my show have created a plaque commemorating his comments to Billy Bush, which happened on our lot,” Seth Gottlieb wrote on Facebook, alongside a picture of the black and gold plaque.

The plaque, which references Mr Trump’s infamous remarks to Bush, has since been taken down.

Mr Trump was taped in 2005 during an appearance on Access Hollywood, and a hot mic caught him telling then-host Bush that “when you’re a star they let you do it, you can do anything”.

“Grab them by the p****,” Mr Trump can be heard saying in the video. “You can do anything.”

The plaque has five lines of gold writing above a gold American flag.

“On this spot in September 2005, Donald J Trump bragged about committing sexual assault,” the plaque reads. “In November 2016, he was elected President of the United States.”

The release of the video in October 2016 marked one of the most damaging scandals of Mr Trump’s candidacy, and resulted in 16 women coming forward with sexual harassment or assault claims against the then-Republican candidate for president.

It also resulted in a rare moment in which Mr Trump apologised for his actions.

The allegations against Mr Trump have resurfaced this year following accusations against former Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, who has been accused of sexual assault or harassment — and in some cases rape — by more than 60 women. Mr Weinstein has denied claims of non consensual sex, and says that other claims are also false.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Friday confirmed that the White House’s official position on accusations against Mr Trump is that the women are lying.
