Your support makes all the difference.She may be aged 78, but former secretary of state Madeleine Albright attempted to shame young women voters planning to back Senator Bernie Sanders.
Stumping for Hillary Clinton in Concord, New Hampshire, Mrs Albright, who served in Bill Clinton’s first administration, said: “There's a special place in hell for women who don't help each other.”
She added: “So people are talking about revolution, what a revolution it would be to have a woman president.”
She said that a number of women did not understand “the importance of why young women have to support Hillary Clinton”.
“The story is not over, they’re going to want to push us back. Appointments to the Supreme Court make all the difference,” she said. “Hillary Clinton will be there for you.”
Mrs Albright’s plea comes as Ms Clinton trails Mr Sanders by a huge margin in New Hampshire and among young voters in general. According to a recent poll from the Marist Institute of Public Opinion, 76 percent of likely Democratic voters in New Hampshire under 30 support Ms Sanders.
He has the support of 72 percent of those under 45 in the Granite State. That includes a 29-point lead among women in that age group. The vote is due to take place on Tuesday.
