Donald Trump’s former campaign manager Brad Parscale is said to be writing a book about his time on the 2020 campaign – a fact that has irked some people within the president’s team, according to unconfirmed reports.

Mr Parscale, one of the president’s closest advisors for nearly a decade, has told multiple people he has signed with a literary agent and is in talks with a publisher, according to Bloomberg, who was the first to report on the text.

Mr Parscale has reportedly written some of the manuscript already, but an exact publisher and date of release remain unclear. A potential book will likely be released when the dust settles from the tumultuous 2020 election.

The Independent has reached out to Mr Parscale for confirmation but did not hear back at the time of publication.

Mr Parscale was demoted as Donald Trump’s campaign manager after a rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma drew less attendees than was expected. He remained affiliated with the campaign until late September, when he was detained outside his Fort Lauderdale, Florida home and taken to the hospital following a domestic incident.

Police responded to a 911 call from Mr Parscale’s wife who was concerned for his life after he barricaded himself in a room and allegedly made comments about shooting himself.
