Ten people are said to be dead and more than 20 injured after a shooting incident at a college in Oregon.

Reports said the incident happened at Umpqua Community College in Roseberg, Oregon, according to The News-Review Today, a local publication.

More than 20 people are injured, the New York Daily News reported. The college was on look-down.

The shooter was reported as "down," with no further details immediately available, said Douglass County commissioner Chris Boice.

One female was shot in the chest on the Roseburn campus.
