Teen 'shoots mother dead, returns home to feed siblings telling them she's ill'
17-year-old left in her car but came home several times over two days to feed younger siblings while her body remained in the house, police have claimed

A 17-year-old boy shot his mother dead and took her car before returning home several times over the next two days to feed two younger half-siblings, police in the US have alleged.
Named as Eddie Robert Island, police said he told the children, aged two and 11, that their mother was ill and that they should not disturb her, while her body laid dead in the house.
A family acquaintance eventually found the body of 34-year-old Tamila Wooley in her bedroom in a gated community in Walker, Louisiana, on Wednesday, police said.
Ms Wooley had multiple gunshot wounds to her body and appeared to have been sitting or lying on a her bed when she was killed, but police are unsure if she was asleep when shot, Walker Police Department spokesman Captain John Sharp said.
The teenager, who was stopped early on Thursday in his mother's Lexus, told investigators he shot her late on Sunday or early Monday. He was arrested for second-degree murder and is now in jail without bail.
The younger children have been placed in state custody until relatives arrive. They were both unharmed.
