Two Secret Service agents who were tasked with watching President Trump’s grandson are reportedly under investigation for taking selfies with the 8-year-old while he slept.

A source told Mother Jones that the incident took place while the boy was driven from Westchester County, New York to Manhattan. Apparently the boy woke up while the agents were snapping photos and he “freaked out.”

Shortly thereafter, President Trump’s grandson told his family about the incident and now the agents are under investigation for abandoning their posts while on duty.

"The US Secret Service is aware of a matter involving two of our agents and one of our protectees," the Secret Service said in a statement to the publication.”

"Our Office of Professional Responsibility will always thoroughly review a matter to determine the facts and to ensure proper, long-standing protocols and procedures are followed,” the statement continues. “The Secret Service would caution individuals to not jump to conclusions that may grossly mischaracterize the matter.”

Two sources close to the situation told Mother Jones that President Trump is shrugging off the episode and considering it an isolated incident.
