Google’s Gmail service has suffered a widespread outage, according to users.
The tech giant confirmed that a “significant subset” of users had experienced problems with their email accounts on Tuesday.
The issue came just a day after Google products, such as Gmail, YouTube and Google Docs were hit by outages on Monday.
Users were able to access their inbox but encountered “error messages, high latency, and/or other unexpected behavior,” the company said on its status dashboard.
"We're aware of a problem with Gmail affecting a significant subset of users," said Google.
"The affected users are able to access Gmail, but are seeing error messages, high latency, and/or other unexpected behavior."
Downdetector, which monitors tech outages, recorded that users began to suffer from issues at 3pm ET.
Google’s game streaming service, Stadia, also experienced issues that were “prohibiting some users from launching games" before that problem was fixed.
