Your support makes all the difference.All six officers involved in the arrest of 25-year-old Freddie Gray have been charged in his death, which set off sometimes-violent protests in Baltimore.
Marilyn Mosby, the state prosecutor assigned to investigate the arrest of Mr Gray, announced that charges are to be brought against the officers who detained him - one of them with murder.
"It is my duty to examine the evidence and apply this to the case to decide whether an individual should be charged," said Ms Mosby, the Baltimore City State Attorney, as cheers erupted from a gathered crowd.
"We have probable cause to file criminal charges,” she added.
Those charges are listed below, along with their maximum punishments. None of the below officers have been convicted of any crimes and will stand trial.
