White House "party crashers", Michaele and Tareq Salahi, were stopped by the Secret Service on Wednesday evening after their limousine attempted to pull in to a restricted area near the White House.

A state dinner for Mexican President Felipe Calderon was taking place at the White House at the time.

The Salahis attended President Barack Obama's first state dinner last November – for Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh – even though they were not on the guest list.
