Dramatic images showed a huge hole at the corner of Fifth Avenue and 64th Street in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
CBS reported that video taken from a helicopter shows the sinkhole having swallowed most of the intersection.
It is unclear what caused the road to collapse or if anyone was hurt as the sinkhole developed.
