The 21-year-old could face the death penalty if he is convicted

Jury selection is due to begin on Monday in the trial of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the 21-year-old accused of carrying out the bomb attack on the Boston Marathon which killed three people and injured more than 260. His brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, who police say was also involved in the bomb attack, was killed in a shoot-out with officers.

In June 2013, federal prosecutors announced Dzhokhar Tsarnaev would face the following charges, some of which are repeat counts relating to different aspects of the case. He faces further charges that have been brought by local prosecutors.
