Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of late pop star Whitney Houston, reportedly is improving in the hospital, family members say, despite rumours in the media that the family had planned to take her off life support on Wednesday, CBS News reported.

The Brown family lawyer called the rumours “egregious and false” in a statement released on Tuesday.

Two members of the Brown family told Entertainment Tonight that Ms Brown is “getting better” and asked for supporters to continue praying for her. Ms Brown has been in the intensive care unit at the hospital since she was found unresponsive in a bathtub in her Roswell, Georgia townhouse.

Differing reports have been flying around since Ms Brown was admitted to the hospital, but the Brown family most recently said they are staying positive.

Further details about Ms Brown’s condition aren’t immediately available, but the family’s lawyer said a criminal investigation is underway to look into the circumstances under which Ms Brown was found.
