Washington - Vice-President Al Gore said yesterday that Haiti's military leaders will have to leave 'one way or another'.
The world community and the United States were 'outraged' by Haiti's 'illegal dictators', Mr Gore said. But a US invasion was not inevitable if they left of their own accord.
Earlier Lee Hamilton, Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, said secret activities were under way to avert an invasion. Military intervention in Haiti was close 'unless some opening comes through the secret activities that are going on'.
