This is a video showing the moment one unfortunate gym-goer saw her leg almost snap in half while working out.

In the horrifying footage, the woman is initially filmed smiling as she tests out one of the leg press machines.

However, when the woman goes for a second repetition, disaster strikes.

Warning: Some readers may find this footage disturbing

Relaxing her legs as she extends, the strain soon becomes too much on her right knee, forcing the bottom half of her leg to bend back completely on itself.

The woman screams in agony as a man in a suit standing next to her attempts to help by pushing the weight off of the woman’s knee.

At one point it looks as if the woman’s left leg also bends backwards.
