WASHINGTON - US officials yesterday sought to maintain the pressure on Bosnia's Serbs by saying their withdrawal from two mountains did not amount to ending their 'strangulation' of Sarajevo, and was not enough to lift the threat of Nato air strikes, writes Phil Reeves. 'We need to see food, electricity, water, medicine and necessary relief obtained by the citizens of not only Sarajevo, but other safe areas in the region,' said Michael McCurry, State Department spokesman.
