Widow murder case: pilot freed

A French pilot, Gaeton Beissy, 56, accused of murdering a wealthy English widow, Carolyn Taylor, 54, who was his mistress was ordered to be freed by an Old Bailey judge yesterday after a jury failed to agree a verdict in a second trial. He denied stabbing her through the heart last July. Judge Robert Lymbery said the sooner Mr Beissy left the country the better.
