The widow of a man who died 14 years ago from asbestos-related cancer was awarded pounds 85,000 damages against his former employer. The High Court was told that the husband of Elizabeth Standen, 70, and his two brothers died of mesothelioma after working for Newalls Insulation of Manchester.
