Two jailed for parlour raids
Two raiders who terrorised women during a spree of armed hold-ups on London massage parlours were jailed at the Old Bailey yesterday.
Roy Dennard, 22, a labourer, was sentenced to 11 years, and Jason Woods, 24, unemployed, to nine years. The pair, from south London, admitted raids last summer in which pounds 4,000 cash and jewellery worth pounds 3,000 were stolen. They chose 'establishments used for sexual favours by the public', the court was told. The victims were prostitutes and their helpers.
