Two Britons die in ski accidents

A British student has been killed in a skiing accident in California.

Garry Rogers, 18, from Ardrossan in Strathclyde, an exchange student, was leading a group of six skiers at Heavenly Valley, near Lake Tahoe, when he lost control and collided with a tree. He died from head injuries.

A British skier was killed in the Austrian Alps after he collided with a snow tractor. Timothy Henderson, 22, from London, died on the spot from severe head injuries.
