Traffickers jailed

Two Britons have been jailed by a court in southern India for drug trafficking. Somantha Margaret Slater, 23, received a 10-year sentence and her friend, Andrew Alexander Hesketh, aged 25, three years. Slater was also given a one million rupee ( pounds 20,300) fine, or two extra years in jail if she failed to pay.
