Tobacco men jailed

Joseph and Edward Pendleton, of Merseyside, who abused new EC export rules by importing thousands of pounds worth of tobacco from France, were jailed for six months. Liverpool Crown Court was told that the loss in revenue to Customs and Excise was pounds 12,000.
