It isn't just the Irish who celebrate their patron Saint Patrick. Around the world people, buildings and dogs have been turning green in tribute to the festival.
Parades, parties and religious services have taken place across the globe, from Monaco to Vancouver. Even the Duchess of Cambridge enjoyed a Paddy's Day toast (see video, above left).
