On average, Britons still have 4.7 leave days left for this year, with 12 per cent having as many as 11 days untaken, the poll of 2,089 adults by travelsupermarket.com found. Also, 17.5 per cent of those over 55 have 11 or more days still to take. Overall, those aged 18 to 23 have an average of 3.7 days left to take and the average for those over 55 is 6.5 days.
The Welsh are best at taking their holidays, as they have an average of just 3.4 days left.
The worst appear to be those from Northern Ireland, with an average of 6.6 days still unused.
