AN ACTIVATED security screen trapped a man under the chin, lifted him and pinned him to the ceiling of a petrol station when he tried to buy cigarettes with a stolen credit card, Snaresbrook Crown Court was told. Ronald Truman, 32, of Hackney, north London, admitted attempting to obtain property by deception and handling stolen goods. He will be sentenced next month.
