Two more men charged in connection with delivery driver’s murder

Two men from Austria have been charged with the murder of a DPD delivery driver in Shropshire.
West Mercia Police detectives investigating the murder of Aurman Singh, 23, say they have charged Mehakdeep Singh, 23, and Sehajpal Singh, aged 25, both of Hohenzell in Austria.
Aurman Singh, from Smethwick, died after he was attacked in Berwick Avenue in Coton Hill in Shrewsbury on August 21 2023 while he was making a delivery.
Five men have already been jailed for their part in his killing.
Arshdeep Singh, 24, of Shaw Road in Tipton; Jagdeep Singh, 23, of Goodrich Mews in Dudley, Shivdeep Singh, 27, of Greenfield Road in Smethwick; and Manjot Singh, 24, of Greenfield Road in Smethwick, were all jailed for 28 years for murder.
Sukhmandeep Singh, 24, from Paynels in Orton Goldhay, Peterborough, was jailed for 10 years for manslaughter.
Mehakdeep Singh and Sehajpal Singh have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Telford Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
