Detectives believe that an RUC man at the centre of the Stalker 'shoot-to-kill' inquiry, who was found dead on Sunday night near Ballymena, shot himself. Constable David Brannigan, 44, from Newtonabbey, Co Antrim, was one of three RUC officers found not guilty of murdering an unarmed IRA man, Eugene Toman, in November 1982.
