PLUGS: Most domestic appliances will have to be supplied with a plug fitted from 1 February, Patrick McLough lin, trade minister, said.

PROPERTY: Six prosecutions under the Property Misdescriptions Act have so far been notified to the Office of Fair Trading, Mr McLoughlin said. All resulted in convictions.
