Your support makes all the difference.CHARTER COSTS: A total of pounds 14.3m has been spent on the publication and distribution of citizen's charters by 13 government departments, British Rail and London Underground. It included pounds 5.2m by the Department for Education and pounds 4.1m by the Department of Health, William Waldegrave, the minister in charge of the charters, said.
SCHOOL TABLES: The total budget for the 1993 school performance tables exercise was pounds 1.9m, the junior education minister Robin Squire disclosed.
